”The Market” is an original etching on paper, realized by the French artist Auguste Brouet in the early 20th Century. In very good condition, except for a small yellowish stain at the top right. These artwork represents the crowd of a market, depicted skillfully through confident and short strokes with well-defined hatching. Auguste Brouet (18721941) was a French etcher and book illustrator.
