Description
Renowned French ceramist who collaborated with Auguste Rodin, Edmond Lachenal (1855-1948) created this vase in enameled stoneware, worked in an innovative way and colored with spring tones.
This vase has an ovoid body and a straight, shouldered neck from which fall three openwork handles.
The blue enamel decoration with stylized irises and brilliant arabesques are surrounded by handles in matte green enamel that enhance the colors of this objet d’art.
With its poetic and floral decoration, this unique vase signed Lachenal will delight by its fantasy and the softness of its atypical forms.
