“Bronze Argente Art Deco 1930 By De Possesse Crouching Woman The Surprise” This bronze is guaranteed from the Art Deco period. It bears the signature “de Possesse”, probably for Albin Franois de Possesse, born in 1888. The bronze is very geometric, very 1930. It represents a crouching woman, her hands crossed, it is entitled “La Surprise”. It is beautifully crafted with a nice carving, lovely details especially in the hair. The quality is there. We report for the most picky rubbing and wear, micro-scratches and scratches, a few small spots. This work is in a rather very good state of conservation for an object from the 1930s.
