Description
1960s Dark Walnut Dining Chairs By Antonin Suman For Ton Set Of Four. Antonin Suman joined Thonet in 1949 and later moved to the Thonet offshoot Ton when the firms split during the post-war political upheaval in the region. These chairs were produced by the famous Czech firm Ton, still trading today and producing beautiful chairs. Suman was a prolific and revered designer and these chairs are exceptionally rare with upholstered seats. We have gently restored the frames but kept the original character and patina which is what these chairs are all about. We service each chair individually before it leaves our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat height 44cm.
