19TH CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN PAINTED WALL CABINET DATING FROM CIRCA 1870. LARGE PINE HAND-PAINTED SWEDISH WALL CABINET. MADE FROM PINE AND PAINTED IN A DEEP PLUM COLOUR SCHEME WITH A HAND-PAINTED EFFECT OVER THE TOP TO SIMULATE GRAIN AND TONE. DOUBLE DOORS OPEN TO REVEAL A PARTIALLY FITTED INTERIOR OF 2 DRAWERS WITH A SINGLE FIXED SHELF ABOVE. HAND-PAINTED IN A MINT GREEN, CONTRASTING TO THE OUTSIDE. IDEAL FOR USE AS A BATHROOM CUPBOARD, OR IN A HALLWAY FOR SAFE STORAGE OF KEYS AND BELONGINGS. LOCK PRESENT BUT NO KEY, ONE COULD BE MADE UPON REQUEST. EXPECTED LOSSES TO PAINTWORK, SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK.
