He was born in Dsseldorf, studied at the Art Academy in Dsseldorf. After working in the art trade as a renowned gallerist (Manfred Strake Gallery), he worked as a freelance sculptor from 1965, followed by gallery exhibitions in Milan and Paris, among others, as well as exhibitions in Krefeld, Dsseldorf and Reutlingen and Athens. Provenance: Private collection, Ruhr area.
