Vintage, handmade, Mid-Century, three-tier, ceramic serving stand, by Salins France, from the 1960’s.
This piece is from the Salins France “MERIBEL” line. It is made of ceramic that has a beautiful glaze with a glossy finish. The handle (holder) at its center, is made of metal. The 3 serving trays/bowls, feature a beautiful circular/ spiral design pattern, with burnt orange and brown hues (see photos.)
The second tray ( the middle one) is a spinning/ rotating tray .
The piece carries the Salins France stamp underneath the three trays trays that say: “MERIBEL, Dcor Main, (see photos.)
Piece is in good, original and vintage condition, with a beautiful patina of time. No cracks or chips on the bowls.
Some old signs and marks of age and previous usage as well as faded color commensurate with time, on the handle, but nothing that affects is functionality or look (see photos.)
There are miniscule, natural bubbles in the glazing on the underneath of the trays (see photos)
A practical, cool piece that can be used as dcor on a shelf, a centerpiece for a table, a candy dish, for apro, finger food, mini pastries or even in the kitchen to store smaller items.
Some photos have been taken outdoor with natural light which may result in some light reflection and difference of color depending on the brightness and angle the photos haven been shot.
