This is an antique Canterbury stand. An English, mahogany and oak four compartment magazine rack, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

Graceful staves stretch between block shoulders upon turned uprights

Raised upon short turned legs and riding smoothly upon brass castors to each corner
