Description
Large flatweave pair of pillows, Sweden, early 20th century. Lovely pieces made in the Scandinavian folk art weaving of the Dala Floda region, realized in weft lace technique. They have vibrant and varied palette of red, ochre, green, blue, white against a black background. Down filling pillows inside. The cover is sewn, it doesn’t have a closure. Dry wash only.
