A figurine in plaster of an elegant Art Deco Dancer by Jean Carli (born in Italy in 1895).
Jean Carli worked for the family business, A. Carli Frres, that was active from 1909 until the 1970s in Schaerbeek, Belgium. The company specialised in plaster figurines, clocks, vases and decorative objects as well as marble, alabaster and bronze sculptures.
The figurine is signed on the back Jean Carli followed by the number 258.
Overall in very good condition with only minor age-related marks.
