Description
very rare set of 32 art ceramic checkers, production ”the woodpecker” 70’s on design by enzo bioli
King, queen, horse and bishop have human faces (…and animals), while the pedestrians are represented by small glasses.
The figures are about 11 centimeters high with a diameter of 5 cm, while the pedestrians have a height slightly higher than 5 centimeters, same diameter.

very good condition, as shown in the photo, a couple of pieces have small chips, while a pedestrian has been restored on the inside, invisible on the outside
all the white pieces have the mark ”il picchio italy” in the below part
