Description
Figure of Man is a China Ink Drawing realized by Eugenio Scorzelli (1890-1958). Good condition, included a grey cardboard passpartout (33.5×27.5 cm). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Eugenio Scorzelli (1890-1958) trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples with Cammarano, Morelli and Palizzi, but worked for a long time between London and Paris, much influenced by the production of De Nittis. He realized Neapolitan, Parisian and London views, also dealing with the figure and scenes of everyday life. He was very attentive to light, to the atmosphere, with a synthetic brushstroke and focused on shades of gray and white.
