Description
Homage to futurism is a mixed media artwork realized by Stefania Lotti in 1976. Hand signed by the artist on the right margin. The artwork is framed (36.5 x 2 x 48.4 cm). The work is characterized by a series of stamps pasted on paper, made on the occasion of the centenary of birth Filippo Tommaso Marinetti Stefania Lotti began her artistic activity in 1950. She also deals with restoration and carries out decoration work and models for medals. HIn 1974 he received the A. Ristori award. In 1953 he collaborated in the construction of the large panel (73mt x 7.5mt) by Gino Severini, designed for the International Agriculture Exhibition (E.A. 53), in the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome. Her literary production has been intense since the 1950s, he publishes various articles, essays and monographs, particularly on the history and themes of futurism, joining in 1968 the manifesto-declaration “Futurism-Today”. In 1975 he was a member of the promoting committee of the events in honor of the centenary of the birth of F. T. Marinetti.
