Description
1930s Original Zinc Advertising Sign Credit Lyonnais. A rare survivor from the 1930s. This is an original hand painted zinc sign from France, advertising the French bank Credit Lyonnais. The bank was founded in 1863 and in the early 20th Century was one of the largest banks in the world. The sign was painted on thin sheet zinc which would have been nailed to a building or hoarding. We have carefully mounted the sign to a hand painted background and framed it in solid oak. Exceptional graphics and vivid colours.
