It merged with Brignogan-Plages to form the new commune of Plounour-Brignogan-plages. Georges Levreau (1867-1936) was a French painter born in Nantes. His work includes numerous portraits, still lifes, and landscapes. He is responsible for the decor of the Italian-style theater in La Roche-sur-Yon. He is also known for his decorations for the brasserie La Cigale in Nantes, which he created in 1895. The work is presented unprepared, unrestored, you must accept the defects due to age.
