Description
Set of four Ant chairs, or model 3100. This model was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen back in 1952 and was originally developed for the dining room of Danish farmaceutical company NOVO in Copenhagen. This black lacquered set was produced back in 1969 so they for sure has some age to them. Unconfirmed rumour has it that it actually was Verner Panton, another one of the the great Danish mid-century designers, that designed it since he was some kind of apprentice during this period at the Jacobsen office. The chairs are in a overall good untouched vintage condition with normal ware consistent with age and use, including some scratches and marks from everyday use. One of the chairs has a few marks on the seat. Table not included.
