Description
This pair of bedside table lamps is a bold statement piece from the 1970s.
It its believed to be designed by a great Czech glass designer Josef Hejtman and the lamps were most likely produced at the Kamenicky Senov Factory in former Czechoslovakia – a manufacturer with a great and long tradition in producing top quality glasswork.
A very high level of craftsmanship was required to make this thick blown glass with a diamond shaped decoration. This glass shade is safely held by four clips inside the copper base. The bottom part is a beech oval base with on/off switch on the top part and cream plastic cable on its side.
These lamps can used as a bedside table lights or as a desk lamps.
Both pieces are in great vintage condition, with some wear and patina on the brass stands gained over the years. The patina actually adds a unique charm, character and originality to the whole pair. All parts are original and fully functional.
