COA included. ‘Personatus’ is a self-portrait that Ugne shot during Covid-19 full lockdown. During this hard period, everybody’s state of mind was afflicted by the reality of the virus. The transition to the new normal is captured in Personatus. The title Personatas, meaning mask in Latin, is visualised by Ugne herself looking through a gash in the thin layer. This mask is Ugne’s reference to the most iconic aspect of the covid-19 crisis, the face mask.
