Description
Stunning pair of mid-century modern wall lights/sconces from Limburg (Germany, 1960s). Black square “iron” stripes inlaid in thick hand blown transparent glass with small air bubbles encased in the glass. Minimal & geometric design and high quality. The wall lights cast a wonderful light (see pictures).
Re-wired (hardwired) and ready to be used (compatible in Europe, US, UK, etc.). Each wall lamp requires 1x E14 light bulb (E12 in the US), max 60 W. LED compatible. Height: 24 cm/9.4”; width: 15 cm/5.9”; depth (from wall): 12 cm/4.7”. Very good vintage condition, light wear consistent with age and use.
Limburg manufactured many lamps which became design classics, such as the famous bubble glass lighting by Helena Tynell.
