Description
Lacquered Relic Box of French origin from 1800, made of oak wood and lacquered with a grey/friar’s habit background with decorations of palmettes and racemes in shades of white; on the lid in an oval field the inscription Reliqie is painted in Gothic characters. The lid has a visible hook closure. Interior painted in light blue.
The frame of the base of the box has a small lack on the bottom right.
