Description
19th century painted swedish desktop box circa 1840. Good quality scandinavian box in original paint. Hand painted in a blue/green colour scheme. Further painted with a red cartouche to the lid and the initials a.P.S to the front. Slight dome top lid, with rectangular box. Original hinges. No lock, no key. Standing on short bracket feet. Minor traces of dead inactive treated worm. Expected losses and fading to paintwork. 1 foot looks to have been touched in at a later date. Good quality desktop item.
