Libra pet twentieth century. Old balance of the twentieth century. This balance was fully restored by our craftsmen. Wood and metal. Roman balance system, which consists of a beam divided into two unequal parts. At the end of the shorter part is a tray must be laid weighing goods or, failing that, a hook to which this item will be suspended (or sac neighborhood of meat …). Notches divide the longer arm of the beam in equal parts. A weight (called ‘Roman’ ‘) moves along said arm by means of a ring, and balance can be read on the notch where the ring of the weight mass of the object ? Used to weigh grain, animals (same principle as a person weighs).
