Description
Nature Morte Bleue, cubist drawing in pencil and oil pastel framed by Alfred Gaspart (1900-1993).
An artist best known for his naturalist works or drawings when he was a prisoner of war at Stalag VII A, his cubist work, rather rare, is very decorative.
Bears the AG mark circled at the bottom right placed by the artist’s expert during the post-death sale of his workshop.
All the artist’s drawings in my possession have been visually authenticated by his expert Rafaele Antoniucci.
Fine paper and very delicate, the drawings have all been professionally framed for protection but also aesthetic purposes with an oak rod – museum type – in complete coherence with the simplicity and simplicity of the subject.
