Description
A Thebes type stool made by Heywood Brothers of Chicago c.1910. Four turned legs and stretchers with turned ‘abacus’ decoration and a woven cane seat. In untouched original condition, retaining original label, with some small losses to the cane seat and pin holes in the legs where some old decoration has been removed. The stool could be cleaned and restored but is charming in its present condition.
