Description
Authors collage “Autumn”, colored glass profile on a chessboard. Authors stamp: Anatoly Grishchenko, born in 1946. The work is based on the paintings “The Seasons” – a pictorial cycle of four paintings, created by Giuseppe Arcimboldo in 1563. It was presented to Emperor Maximilian II in 1569 along with the cycle of paintings “The Four Elements”, written in 1566. The cycle of 1573 is kept in the Louvre Museum. Made in oil on canvas. The size of each painting is 76 x 64 cm.
