Description
This is a really beautiful example of an antique Emil Kasper trunk. The trunk is made from wood & covered in a brown canvas, with steel trim and brass stud work, with leather carry handles to the sides of the trunk and retaining the original light blue baize fabric to the inside. The makers label Emil Kasper Koffer Fabrik Pforzheim – gear 1884 is found under the lid. All of the brass work & locks have been polished to showcase the original craftsmanship. 1900s.
These trunks make fabulous coffee table or storage and would make an attractive interior design piece.
