This is a superb porcelain & ormolu mounted Zell Hammersbach vase, with makers mark and dated 1882. This vase comes from the small German town of Zell am Harmersbach, between the Black Forest and the Rhine. This town has a long history of making ceramics, and there are many different types made there. It is a beautiful object which will look fabulous in most surroundings.
