This is a birds accent pillow that gives the feeling of a tropical forest and magical forest.
It’s an hand embroidery collection of pillows, inspired by the traditional portuguese fabric “Chitas de Alcobaa”, with the theme “Birds-of-Paradise”.
Chitas de Alcobaa is a printed cotton fabric with origins in indian fabrics, that came to Europe through the Portuguese in the 15th century, and was highly used in Portugal during the 18th and 19th century.
The birds in this collection were carefully hand embroidery, where time doesn’t have hours and what matters most is the pleasure of having an unique and special piece in hands.
In this specific pillow, the birds embroider are inspired in the vintage fabric “Chitas de Alcobaa” that is in the back.
