Beautiful earthenware set consisting of a polylob plateau, a pot and three glasses of “blue of Svres” color.
La Faencerie Hautin Boulenger & Cie was created in 1863 in Choisy-le-Roi. This recognized factory obtained several official awards at the Universal Exhibitions at the end of the 19th century and closed its workshops in 1934.
This five -piece service is a rare model. It is characterized by its deep blue shade and its finely carved ornaments.
A large tray with geometric curves is decorated with arabesques and circles surrounding mythological creatures. Mixing the Asian style with classicism, this support is supplemented by a pot summoned with a roaring griffin deploying its wings. Three glasses with the original shape complete this service.
The parts of this set are marked “HB Choisy”.
Its refined ornaments and its intense color make this service a unique and charismatic decorative set.
