Description
A set of three solid brass or bronze articulated apes or monkeys. The set was sold at auction in France as 1960s to the previous owner but as there is no makers mark or date known we feel they are more 70s or 80s. They are fairly large and needless to say very heavy ( the standing ape measures 48 cm high for example ). Standing ape: H48 W34. Fighting apes: H41 W33. Walking on 4 paws ape: H30 W39
