Description
A charming early 20th century burr walnut side cabinet in the queen Anne style. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. Of serpentine break-fronted form and bearing the original London retailers label (G E Wallis and Sons of Sloane Street). The top is cross banded and the whole piece stands on elegant cabriole legs with carved shell motifs to the knees and terminating in slipper feet. with a pair of drawers and an open shelf beneath. The drawers are fitted with their original solid brass hardware. This is a versatile piece of furniture that could be used in a number of different room settings within the modern home. Sympathetically repolished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition with a lovely colour and finish.
