Description
A solitary-looking piece of design, it is clear from a first glance that this is an unorthodox chair. While the legs’ design seems almost childish, with the thick, rounded shapes involved, the upper part seems quite down-to-earth, and not at all out of place in an office, until you notice the system devised to hold up the backrest, that is. The unexpected solution devised by Wiesner-Hager seems strange, but works wonderfully, as the metal bits which hold up the backrest go down under the seat into a metal chassis. The result is a sturdy, comfortable chair that adjusts its shape according to whoever’s sitting in it, as any good chair should.
