This simple yet dramatic table lamp is in medium size; 12.02 inches excluding the lamp-fitting and shade. The colored core in Classic Val Saint Lambert tint, has been given a thick Sommerso (clear crystal casing) so that the object appears delicate whilst remaining solid and stabile as a lamp base. Produced between 1955 and 1965, it was handmade from top-quality lead crystal by Val Saint Lambert (the main Belgian crystal glassware manufacturer, founded in 1826 and based near Liege.) The item is in a completely undamaged state, and signed Val Saint Lambert on the base. It’s in full working order having recently been re-wired and provided with new lamp-fitting, E27. In excellent condition and in full working order having recently been re-wired. Fitting E27. And safe for immediate usage in the World. The lamp is for sale without any lampshade. The fitting will suit all the standard-sized lamp shades. Weight: (crystal lamp with fittings excl. shade): 2.2 kg 4.85 pounds. The height is measured without shade and fittings.
