Danish Selandia Fruit Bowls by Per Ltken for Holmegaard, 1960s. Set of 2.
Pair of Danish Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern biomorphic hand blown glass bowls.
Designed by Per Ltken in 1954 and manufactured by Holmegaard Glasvrk Denmark from 1954 to 1974.
The color is called “Akva”, the model is named “Selandia”
These bowls are from a private collection of a former employee of Holmegaard. The bowls are either not labelled or are engraved with II S (2nd factory quality). They have small imperfections like air bubbles.
This set consists of:
1 large bowl: Diameter 30-31.5 cm, height 10 cm.
1 small bowl: Diameter 25-27 cm, height 8 cm.
Very good original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Small imperfections like air bubbles.
