Description
Mirage (Abstract painting) Acrylic on acrylic panel (plexi) – Unframed. This work is sold as a diptych and comes with a cleat system for hanging. Each panel has the following dimensions: 8.25″ x 5.25″ x .75″ – 21 x 13.5 x 2 cm Mirage is from a new series titled Without Intention. The pieces exemplify time and the presence of Ramsay’s hand in concert with painting tools and liquid paint. The colors and gestures are markers of time, change and place. The paintings are unintentionally informed by distillations of views of the ever-changing patterns of water currents and clouds Ramsay observes out her studio window overlooking the East River. The making of paintings is a process of accumulating lessons.
