Dining Table Formica Designer: unknown Year: around 1955 Manufacturer: unknown Country: Germany Measurements: H 76 cm W 80 cm D 80 cm Material: Beech stained dark and varnished, brass ring and sleeves around the feet, table top coated with formica. Condition: good original condition Special Remarks: slight traces of wear. One side of the table has old repairs in the Formica, the surface shows signs of use, light scratches.
This contemporary dining table from private ownership. He comes from a large company canteen. Formally influenced by the French tables by Jean Prouv, the furniture is very much in the modern spirit of its time. The Formica has some signs of wear, in our opinion it should be allowed to do so for 70 years! The table has a good usability due to the central retracted underframe, but the construction does not stand in the way of the user’s legs.
