Gualtieri di San Lazzaro (Giuseppe Papa, 1904-1974), editor, collector, and critic, gave life to a major magazine of contemporary art: he founded and directed the magazine XXe Sicle , published in Paris since 1938, dedicating each issue to a different theme of contemporary art and illustrating it with original graphics by masters such as Arp, Henri Laurens, Mir, Klee, Moore, Marino Marini, Magnelli, Picasso etc.
