Colored etchings and engravings in plate (printed with colored inks)
Engraver: Jean Daull, French engraver born in Abbeville on 18 May 1703 and died in Paris on 23 April 1763. Son of a goldsmith, at the age of fourteen he went to the workshop of the engraver Robart, and then continued his studies in Paris under Robert Hecquet. In 1742 he was admitted to the Acadmie Royale de Peinture et de Sculpture and to the academy of Augsburg, finally named “Engraver to the King”.
