Description
Composition is an original etching by the German artist Fritz Baumgartner. In good conditions except for small stains on the whitish frame of left. The artwork represents an abstract composition of a nude. woman interwoven by lines through strong deft strokes in a Cubist style. Fritz Baumgartner (Aurolzmmnster 1929 / Austria – Munich 2006). Austrian painter and graphic artist, naturalized German, Fritz Baumgartner, is an incredible interpreter of neo cubism and neo-expressionism. From 1949 to 1956 he attended the Academy of Figurative Arts in Munich, as a student of the masters Oskar Kokoshka and Hermann Kasper.
