For the condition, note in the margin small tears on the right (2.3 cm and 2 cm), at the bottom (0.3 cm), on the left missing paper, dog-eared corners, fold marks and small stains. On the lithograph, we report small stains. The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible. We took as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivire (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows which he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
