Description
This lithograph Eight views of Paris – Notre-Dame view from quai d’Austerlitz is signed Henri Rivire and bears a red stamp at the bottom right. The work is authentic and old.
For the condition, note in the margin a tear on the right (0.5 cm) and small ones at the bottom at the edge, ink lines, slight fold marks, small stains.
On the litho, we note small spots in places.
The lithograph is very fresh in color, once framed most of the defects will be barely visible.
We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition.

Henri Rivire (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, from the shadow theater to the Cabaret du Chat Noir, shows which he improved by the creation of very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, prints, wood engraving, lithography and watercolors (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
