Description
Les Deux Aristocraties is a vintage Woodcut Print realized by Hermann Paul (1864-1940). Good condition on a grey cardboard. No signature. Hermann Ren Georges. (Paris 1864 – Les Saintes- Marie-de-la-Mer 1940). A highly controversial painter and caricaturist, he produced much for L’Assiette au Beurre until its closure in 1912. During the Great War he drew memorable plates for Le Rire rouge, Le Journal and La Baionnette.
