Description
Embroidered Round Tablecloth, Italian artefact from the 1700s obtained by joining together strips of textured fabric, giving continuity to the composition of a damask motif made of roses, blue and pink fantasy flowers and leaves embroidered in cotton and silver lam. This ancient and rare circular fabric table cover is in fair condition, has some wear and tearing as documented in the photo gallery, compatible with the eighteenth century dating.
The tablecloth comes from a private collection, it is lined and therefore the back of the fabric is not visible.
