This enamelled signal sign “Holding board SO 9 / NE 6” dates from the 1970s and was used on the German railway routes.
The manufacturer is the company Klee (Germersheim emailles).

The meaning: a stopping point is to be expected. The signal, slightly diagonally, to the right of the track, is on the brake path distance of the route, 150 m before the start of the platform if it is difficult to recognize as a result of the off -road conditions.
