Description
The Collapse (original title: Il Crollo) is an original Contemporary artwork realized in 1975 by the italian artist Leo Guida (1992 – 2017). Original black and white etching. Hand signed and dated on the lower margin. Numbered on the lower left. Edition of 10. Includes wooden frame: 100 x 3 x 70 cm The artwork is part of four engravings “In death of Francisco Franco” Leo Guida (1992 – 2017). Sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques, Leo Guida has been able to weave with many generations of young people in the course of his career, a productive conversation on art and the function of the artist. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico in Latina from 1969 to 1985, and he trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural scene. Copious was his production of graphic works in which Guida showed all his talent for the techniques of chalcography, etching, aquatint and burin etc.
