based on wax and vegetable oils, suitable for food contact. Upper plate composed of 4 boards, 25 mm thick.
Pretty decorative piece, to be adapted into a storage box or planter.
Since the 12th century, women had at their disposal a wooden chest in which they kneaded bread dough. All you had to do was knead with your fist, then beat the dough in portions against the dough hook.
Bread was (but still is) an essential food on a table during a meal… especially in France! At the time, bread made it easy to fill the stomach with few ingredients, which fed large families without means.
