An eye-catching lithography by Dutch artist Pjeroo Roobjee by Belgian artist Pjeroo Roobjee in 2001.
The artwork, named Kapoenen (meaning either rascals or capons), is made Roobjees highly recognizable style. It pictures several people having dinner and drinks in a very interesting set-up. Roobjees unique style combines a color, content and a (dark) sense of humor. His work is often inspired by violence, consumption and eroticism. This makes his artworks interesting statement pieces that will definitely draw the attention in the decor.
Signed, named and numbered at the underside.
It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
