Description
Decorative rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century around 1870 in Austria. Elaborately hand carved out of fine basswood, the solid frame impresses with its artfully pyramidal notch cut embedded in a simple but still spectacular design. The protruding corners in combination with the dark brown, almost black looking surface showing a mat varnish finishing, confers this antique rural mirror a fantastic look. A truly beautiful rustic wall mirror in our very popular Tramp Art selection. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process and the copper clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
