Description
Les Chevaliers is an original print, realized in the second half of 17th Century by the French artist Sbastien Leclerc (1637-1714). Etching on paper. Signed on plate on the left margin. The artwork is attached on passepartout: 38×55 cm Good conditions. Sbastien Leclerc (1637-1714) was a French painter, engraver and military engineer. Major printmaker; first prints dated 1654. He was member of Acadmie in 1672 and soon after given lodgings in the Gobelins. ‘Graveur du Roi’ in 1693; given title of ‘Chevalier Romain’ in 1706.
