Description
TOMEK MISTAK (born 1978) In 2005 he obtained a diploma in the painting studio of professor Stanisaw Biaogowicz at the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Rzeszw. He practices easel painting, mainly acrylic on canvas. Member of the Union of Polish Visual Artists.
PRIZES AND AWARDS:
2003 – Finalist of the “Image of the Year 2002” competition organized by the journal Art & Business, Warsaw
2009 – Award of the Podkarpackie Voivode at the Triennial of Painting of the Carpathian Region “Silver Quadrangle”, Przemyl
2010 – nomination for the prize at the XI Biennale of Krosno Plastics, BWA, Krosno
2011 – nomination for the prize in the competition “Image, Graphics, Drawing, Sculpture of the Year 2011”, BWA in Rzeszw
2012 – Finalist of the 24th Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting in Szczecin
2015 – Award of the President of the City of Rzeszw in the competition “Image, Graphics, Drawing, Sculpture, Year 2015”, Biuro Wystaw Artystycznych, Rzeszw.
